CARTOON ANSWER:

THE EVIL WITCH WELCOMED THE VISITORS AND INVITED THEM TO – – –

ESS RFT LIL PAO = SIT FOR A SPELL

  1. Good Morning, Everyone…I hope this finds you well…
    😱 HOSPITALITY…OR HOSPITAL…IT BE? 😱

    🎶 I PUT A SPELL ON YOU ..because you’re mine…🎶 “I Put A Spell On You” – Miss Nina Simone 1965 https://tinyurl.com/y2nhpyx7

😱 If you’ve ever read an ESSAY on what Witches can cook up,
Suffice to say POTATO GRAFT is not what’s served for sup…
With just a LITTLE twirl of wand,..they’re caught…Look you can tell…
    There’s def a double meaning to these words…SIT FOR A SPELL!😱

So pressed for time, I don’t know WITCH end is up!! I should have never wasted so much time first writing this up in CURSE-ive…

Pretty sure LOST, (short for Losticia), and WAY, (short for Wayne), were just out for a leisurely hike in the woods…and LOST their WAY…And coming upon a dwelling in the forest, thought they’d get a chance to warm up and get some directions on WITCH WAY to go…. But NO and beCOLD…the SIT FOR A SPELL https://tinyurl.com/4zp9wavx they hoped for wasn’t the SIT FOR A SPELL https://tinyurl.com/5fxzy2xk they received…Poor things, they’re mesmerEYEzed!… Are they drinking eye of newt and toe of frog?… Will WITCH HAZEL let them out of there? Will they ever get GNOME?…And speaking of…In addition to the TOADstool Lost is sitting on, that poor GNOME is caving under the pressure of trying to hold up that makeshift table…talk about TOIL and trouble…Make no GNOMES about it…this is a complete BREW-haha…WAND in the world is going on?… I dread thinking what could be HEXED…

So…There you have it Folks…Done. Have a good one. Be well, be kind, stay safe…And HAIRS hoping Hazel doesn’t have a BROOMmate…I couldn’t ENDORA seeing what might enBREW then…😱🙋🏻‍♀️

  2. 🧙🏻‍♀️ …ANY WITCH WAY YOU LIKE IT…🧙🏻‍♀️
    …🎶’Cause it’s WITCHCRAFT…🎶 “Witchcraft” – Mr Frank Sinatra 1957 https://tinyurl.com/3z5w6a8j

    🧙🏻‍♀️ Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.
    Fillet of a fenny snake,
    In the caldron boil and bake;
Eye of newt and toe of frog,
Wool of bat and tongue of dog,
    Adder’s fork and blind-worm’s sting,
    Lizard’s leg and howlet’s wing,
For a charm of powerful trouble,
Like a hell-broth boil and bubble.

    Double, double toil and trouble;
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.
Cool it with a baboon’s blood,
Then the charm is firm and good. 🧙🏻‍♀️

    …Shakespeare’s “Macbeth”

  3. 👍🏻 After doing all the research to complete the ESSAY on how to GRAFT a POTATO plant, she decided to relax a LITTLE and SIT FOR A SPELL…👍🏻

🤷🏻‍♀️She still need write the ESSAY on GRAFT in government,
So LITTLE time remaining…although most was def well spent…
Her sausage and POTATO dish is setting up quite well…
She’s hoping she finds time to maybe just SIT FOR A SPELL! 🤷🏻‍♀️

  4. Great taco-Tuesday ! All the anagrams are following yesterday and keeping the week going with comfortable solved ! The jumble took some thinking , witch I knew I had to do , but it came to me to see both sitting and a witch to cast a spell and the patience , to SIT FOR A SPELL ! Loved your song Angela ! Always been one of my favorites ! Great taco-Tuesday ! Everyone have some tacos and a great Tuesday !!!!!

    • Tks, Jim 🧙🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  5. Always a good morning with a blind solve, though to check it out, I somehow misspelled ESSAY to ASSEY (and I think I was looking for ASSAY as in finding the worth of metal.) Anyway, Angela gave us a welcome literary rendering with Shakespeare…then followed with a Sinatra favorite. So good, rather than evil, tidings to you all, on this cool Taco Tuesday morning. Terry

    • Tks, Terry 🧙🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  6. Yes, come in and sit down for a spell
I take it your day’s going well?
    Just take your ease
    I do aim to please
And all your fears I’ll diSPEL!

    • 😱Comes to dispelling fears…not so much,
      Hilda’s controlled their minds with a touch…
      Now they’re under her spell,
      And unable to yell…
Bottom line now they’re within her clutch! 😱

🪄What they thought was a place of respite,
Turned out to be the wrong place to sit…
      Now they can’t even speak,
      A result of that tweak…
Of the wand that she held in her mitt!! 🪄

🤷🏻‍♀️Helpless now, who knows what Hilda does,
With their minds relegated to fuzz…
      She has taken control,
      Playing the witch’s role…
They’re no longer what one time they was! 🤷🏻‍♀️

🤷🏻‍♂️Can they manage to escape her grip?
Is there a way dilemma to flip?
      Or has that simple stroll,
      Totally taken a toll…
And are they doomed from one little sip? 🤷🏻‍♂️

🙏🏻Here’s to hoping there is a way out,
And that Hilda can’t use all her clout…
      But it’s not looking good,
      We wish it only would….
So the sit a spell can turnabout! 🙏🏻

      • My limerick is of course, tongue in cheek. as always!

        • Of course! 👍🏻🧙🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  7. Good morning. For me the cartoon answer was challenging. The words were easy enough with a pause at essay but I was about to give up on the cartoon and then I actually laughed and came up with the solution. A clever answer, all you had to do was study the picture. Now that I’ve gotten this out of the way I’ll read what others have said. Take care.

    • Good Morning, Paul. Definitely a clever solve…and I’m glad you didn’t CAST it away! Take care. 🧙🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  8. Whew the anagrams were a relatively quick solve, but the many letters and words for the cartoon solution were a challenge. But sit and for popped into mind for the first 2 words , leaving spell for the complete solution. Have a great Taco Tuesday! Chuck.

    • Glad you stayed with it, Professor! 👏🏻👏🏻! 🧙🏻‍♀️🙋🏻‍♀️

  9. Good puzzle
